Probably the most exciting night drive I've ever done. It's actually quite dangerous, especially at night. I didn't see another soul on the entire pass, luckily my car made it. The new, modern Tioga Road of 1959 south of Tenaya Lake and followed a new route, providing highway travel speeds between the Valley and the high country and Tioga Pass.
